The types of meditation that are done to get rid of stress are many. Stress relief is basically the reason why we meditate. To have a peace of mind. To make sure we do not stress ourselves too much. Here are the meditations that you can do to minimize the stress that you are experiencing:
1. One very famous among the types of meditation is the breath regulation technique. What you do is rest yourself and control your breathing. Be relaxed and do not think of anything else but inner peace. It works by helping with the blood circulation. It can also exercise your heart.
2. Second is spiritual meditation. What you do is to try and go to a place where it is quiet and very relaxing. It does not depend on what religion you believe in. This is more or less like a prayer, you have a conversation with God, seeking guidance as well as mental, physical, and spiritual healing. Keep your mind clear and don’t think about anything stressful. Praying is actually an effective meditation to eliminate stress.
3. Walking meditation technique. Going out for a walk is a form of meditation. This can in fact minimize, if not elliminate stress. You can go out strolling in the park or just a simple around the neighborhood walk. Feel everything and breathe.
4. Another one that is also famous amongst the types of meditation is by emptying your mind. You must go to a very solemn place, probably far from your home, especially from the source of the stress, then you empty your mind, meaning you try to forget about everything and relax. You must sit erect, cross your legs, and then think about peaceful thoughts. Be sure that the place is quiet or must only have the sound of nature.

Meditation is very important, especially nowadays where there is stress everywhere. After a long day at work, you can try one of these meditations so that you will wake up happy and lively the next day.
